POD FURNITURE IRELAND
Sales & Marketing Executive
Full-time · On-site · Ireland
About the role
Pod Furniture is a growing Irish interiors and furniture retailer. We are looking for a driven Sales & Marketing Executive who lives and breathes great design — someone who can lead the sale from first hello to happy customer, while helping shape how our brand looks and feels across every channel.
This is a sales-first role with a genuine creative side. Roughly two-thirds of your week is about winning and growing business; the rest is hands-on marketing — content, campaigns and merchandising that bring our collections to life. If you love beautiful interiors and get a buzz from turning a browser into a customer, we would love to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO — SALES
- Guide customers through the buying journey in the showroom, by phone and by email — understanding their space, style and budget, and recommending the right pieces.
- Own the sales pipeline: follow up leads and quotes promptly, keep in touch with prospects, and close with confidence.
- Hit and grow our group sales targets, and spot opportunities to upsell and cross-sell across rooms and collections.
- Build lasting relationships with retail and trade customers, and handle after-sales queries so every customer feels looked after.
- Feed back what customers are asking for to help shape ranges, pricing and promotions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO — MARKETING
- Be a part of a dynamic marketing team when creating campaigns across social media, email and the website to drive footfall and online sales.
- Create and style content — photography, room sets and product write-ups — that shows our furniture at its best.
- Keep the showroom and online store looking sharp, with merchandising and displays that reflect current trends.
- Track what's working — promotions, posts and product launches — and use it to improve the next campaign.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–4 years' experience in sales, ideally retail, interiors, homeware or a related field.
- A real passion for interiors, furniture and design — you notice the details and enjoy talking about them.
- Strong interest in marketing, with a good eye for content and an understanding of social media and email.
- Warm, confident communicator who builds rapport quickly and is comfortable asking for the sale.
- Organised and self-motivated — able to juggle customers, follow-ups and campaigns without dropping the ball.
- Comfortable with everyday tools (email, social platforms, and a willingness to learn our systems).
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with e-commerce or a Shopify-based store.
- Basic design skills (Canva or similar) and a feel for photography and styling.
Pay: €29,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Company pension
- On-site parking
