Advance Protection is currently hiring for a brand-new role in North County Dublin. This is a role that will evolve over time, with a clear path to a permanent supervisory position for the right person. We are looking for an individual who can exhibit leadership qualities and an ability to stay calm under pressure.
Advance Protection guards assigned to this site will have specific on-site training and will be fully aware of the facilities and environment. We will ensure that you will be well equipped to carry out your duties safely and effectively.
Objectives of this role:
- Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, access control, monitoring and equipment control
- Be always visible and observant
- Respond immediately to incidents swiftly and appropriately in a calm and professional manner
- Maintain the company’s reputation with professionalism and legal compliance
- Collaborate with other facility staff and site management
- Maintain a high level of vigilance
Responsibilities:.
- Patrol property on foot
- Investigate and take appropriate action as required by company policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activity, safety, and fire incidents
- Control and monitor CCTV always adhering to GDPR and perform building and equipment inspections
- Secure all doors and exits depending on shift
- Complete nightly end of shift reports
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Must have least 5 - 10 years proven background experience in a security role
- Prior experience as a site supervisor
- Must hold an in date and valid PSA licence
- Ability to respond to incidents calmly and effectively, diffusing any situations which may arise
- Ability to communicate with people of all ages and backgrounds, as well as the ability to work as part of a skilled and specialised team
- A clear spoken voice and good command of English
- Experience with security equipment and CCTV
- Preferably able to travel to other sites in the region
- Own Transport Preferred

Rate: €16 - €17 per hour
Expected hours 48 Per Week
Pay: €16.00-€17.00 per hour
