Parts Department
The Head of Parts Operations will be responsible for the overall management of the Parts Department, ensuring the right parts are available to support workshop operations, vehicle preparation, repairs, and customer requirements. The role will oversee stock planning, procurement, supplier relationships, inventory control, pricing, and parts performance, while working closely with the workshop to minimise downtime and ensure efficient service delivery. The successful person will lead the Parts team, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
Warehouse Operations
The Head of Parts Operations will oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, control, and dispatch of goods. The role will be responsible for managing goods-in and goods-out processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring stock movements, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will ensure strong stock control measures are in place, drive operational improvements, and maintain compliance with all health and safety requirements.
Leadership & Compliance
The role will provide leadership across the Parts and Warehouse functions, developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement. The Head of Parts Operations will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company procedures, inventory controls, and health and safety standards, while monitoring departmental performance through relevant operational and financial KPIs.

Proven experience managing parts, warehouse, inventory, or distribution operations.

Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory management, and warehouse best practices.

Previous leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong commercial awareness and understanding of operational performance metrics.

Proficient in ERP, inventory, and warehouse management systems.

Health & Safety awareness within warehouse and operational environments.
