U Store It is proud to introduce our newest, custom-built self-storage complex in Liffey Valley, Dublin, spanning an impressive 150,000 square feet with over 2,500 storage units to meet our customer's diverse storage needs.
We are also seeking new team members in our Ballymount facility which has recently completed an expansion.
We are looking for team members now with an immediate start.
Role purpose
Providing exceptional customer service, whilst selling the right storage solution to our customers and supporting the Branch Manager in maximising sales and revenues and maintaining high store standards.

Key Accountabilities
Driving sales performance
- Following the enquiry management process and advising customers on the best storage solution for their particular needs, including selling merchandise to drive business performance.
- Actively following the sales process and positively promoting and selling products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Understanding unit availability for the branch.
- Understanding demand for storage e.g. seasonal and unit sizes.
- Understanding branch revenue targets and planning to achieve them.
- Understanding the competition and being aware of their promotional activity.
- Delivering excellent customer service.
- Handling customer complaints, communicating and escalating all issues to the Branch Manager as necessary.
Delivering store standards
- Complies with all operational procedures, ensuring operational standards are maintained.
- Completing office administration and processes including invoices, banking and customer contracts.
- Adhering to the revenue collection process to minimise bad debts.
- Ensuring that all packaging stock is always in stock, well displayed and priced.
- Takes responsibility for the safety and security of the store and customers.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures, e.g. bad debt recovery.
- Engaging with customers to use feedback platforms.
- Identifying any H&S or security hazards and takes action to resolve locally.
Skills and experience
- A retail or telephone sales background in a customer facing environment is essential.
- Experience in 121 consultative sales is desirable.
- Office administration experience is desirable.

- Excellent sales skills – being able to follow a sales process in a confident and assertive way, selling the right solutions and products in order to turn enquiries in to customers.
- Excellent customer service skills – being friendly and polite – representing the company to all customers and external providers.
- Excellent communication skills – communicate with customers about their needs, challenges and manage complaints when necessary.
- Good time management - manage your own time and ensure targets are met.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn – keen to get on and understand the levers to success.
