Supporting the day-to-day operations, reliability, and compliance of utilities and building automation systems. This role acts as system owner for Siemens Desigo CC and Siemens PLC-based Clean Utilities systems, ensuring uptime, compliance, and continuous improvement in a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Building Management Systems - Siemens Desigo
- Siemens S7-300/400/1200/1500 PLCs.
- Experience in the following highly desirable Siemens HMIs. Siemens PXC series, Desigo CC, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP, BACnet, OPC UA, SQL, FTAC, OCTO Plant
- Keep systems validated and compliant with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and Annex 11.
- Act as the system owner for utilities automation systems where required.
- Lead in troubleshooting and investigations related to utilities automation systems.
- Drive improvements from corrective or preventive actions, including software updates and updates to design documents and procedures.
- Review system designs and suggest improvements using the latest technologies and standards.
- Help introduce new products or technologies by doing engineering assessments, making automation updates, and supporting test runs.
- Support System Owner in day-to-day activities.
- Support in the delivery of projects.
- Knowledge of GAMP software development lifecycle, ANSI/ISA-S88 and S95 industry standards, 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11.
- Support integration of utilities data into PI System and analytics dashboards. Analyse trends and historian data to identify reliability and performance improvements.
- Working knowledge of network architecture technologies including TCP/IP and Firewalls.
- Work independently, stay organized, and manage several tasks in a busy manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Background in automation design, installation, programming. Experience with validation and lifecycle maintenance is an advantage.
- Relevant degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Engineering or related life science engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in operations/manufacturing environment.

Pay: €40,000.00-€75,000.00 per year
