Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex broadband telecommunications projects. This role oversees cross-functional teams to deliver network deployment, infrastructure upgrades, customer implementations, and strategic transformation initiatives on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing large-scale telecommunications projects, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a strong understanding of broadband technologies, fiber and wireless infrastructure, and project governance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of broadband network deployment and infrastructure projects.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk management strategies.
Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Coordinate internal teams, contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Manage project governance, reporting, and executive-level communications.
Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and status reviews.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, health and safety, and company standards.
Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.
Support procurement activities, contract management, and vendor performance reviews.
Manage project financials, including forecasting, cost control, and change management.
Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the development of project management best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Minimum 8–10 years of project management experience.
At least 5 years of experience delivering broadband or telecommunications infrastructure projects.
Proven experience managing projects valued at several million dollars/euros.
Strong understanding of fiber optic networks, FTTH, FTTx, wireless broadband, and telecommunications infrastructure.
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Pay: €61,411.20-€121,500.05 per year
