Job description
Full time Medical Secretary required for busy but well organised GP practice in Kinsale, Co Cork. Immediate start. This role is to support our existing admin and medical team. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work well and efficiently in a busy environment, to work as part of a team while also be capable of working off their own initiative. Medical Secretary experience in GP practice is essential.
Skills required:
- Excellent administration & organisation skills & ability to multi task
- Strong IT skills - competent use in Word, Excel, email, typing skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure & manage time efficiently
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- A high level of accuracy & attention to detail
- Prior experience dealing with confidential information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high demand, high volume, office environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & telephone skills
- Ability to manage finances which includes billing & reconciliation of accounts
Flexibility & ability to adapt to a changing environment
