Job Title: Experienced Chef (Full-Time/Part-Time)
Location: Clevery, Castlebaldwin, CO. Sligo
Salary: €16.00-€18 per hour based on experience
Hours: 25-40 hours per week
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join our busy and well-regarded kitchen team. You will work closely with our Head Chef to assist in the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes across our lunch, à la carte, and evening menus.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where consistency, creativity, and teamwork are essential. We're proud of the standard of food we deliver and are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard
- Support in managing stock, portion control, and kitchen cleanliness
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space in line with HACCP and food safety regulations
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates as required
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times
- Work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Weekday shifts (Monday to Friday) with weekend availability required
- Part-time and full-time roles available (2540 hours per week)
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a busy kitchen environment (required)
- HACCP certification (required)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a passion for cooking
- Ability to take direction and work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends
