Job description:
We are seeking a fully qualified Electrician with proven experience in the installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of Solar PV systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality electrical installations on residential and commercial projects while ensuring all work complies with current Irish electrical regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, wire, test, and commission Solar PV systems.
- Install and connect solar inverters, battery storage systems, and associated electrical equipment.
- Carry out AC and DC wiring in accordance with current regulations.
- Perform fault finding, maintenance, and repair of Solar PV systems.
- Complete electrical testing and inspection of installations.
- Certify completed electrical works in compliance with Safe Electric regulations.
- Ensure all work complies with ET101 National Rules for Electrical Installations and current Building Regulations.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Liaise professionally with customers, site managers, and colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety on all job sites.
- Keep accurate records of completed work and certification.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical trade qualification.
- Registered Safe Electric Qualified Certifier (or eligible to sign off and certify electrical installations in Ireland).
- Full, clean Category B Driving Licence.
- Proven experience installing and wiring Solar PV systems.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems.
- Experience testing, inspecting, and commissioning electrical installations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience installing battery energy storage systems (ESS).
- Experience with EV charger installations.
- Manual Handling Certification.
- Safe Pass Card.
- Working at Heights Training.
- MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) certification.
- First Aid certification.
