The Merchant is a brand new city-centre bar from The Emporium Company, focused on quality drinks, premium service and a strong bar culture. We are recruiting passionate, professional bartenders to join our opening team.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, producing high-quality drinks, and ensuring every guest has a standout experience. This is a fast-paced role in a standards-led venue where attention to detail and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional and efficient service to all guests
- Prepare and serve drinks to a consistently high standard
- Maintain full knowledge of our drinks offering and menu
- Operate tills and handle cash accuratelyEnsure the bar is kept clean, organised and fully stocked
- Follow all hygiene, HACCP and health & safety standards
- Work closely with the management team and wider bar team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bartending experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Passion for quality drinks and hospitality
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
