We are seeking an experienced and proactive Dispatch Supervisor to lead our dispatch operations and ensure efficient, timely, and safe delivery of goods/services. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee daily dispatching activities, manage pickers, dispatchers and drivers, optimise routes, and maintain high standards of customer service and compliance. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at problem-solving under pressure, we want you on our team!Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and mentor a team of dispatchers and support staff to ensure smooth operations. Assign delivery routes, coordinate with drivers, monitor real-time progress using GPS and dispatch software, and make adjustments to meet deadlines. Oversee on-time performance, resolve operational issues (delays, accidents, customer complaints), and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of shipments, driver logs, fuel usage, and compliance with safety, and regulatory requirements. Optimise routes and schedules to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimise overtime. Manage warehouse-related dispatch functions including inventory coordination and equipment oversight. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on dispatch metrics, delivery performance, and team productivity. Monitor inventory and equipment related to dispatch operations .Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 3+ years in dispatch, logistics, or transportation operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.. Strong knowledge of dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record .
