Summary
The Bid Support Manager manages, contributes, develops and oversees the preparation and submission of all tenders for new business.
Location: Works four days in the office or on site as per Company policy.
Qualifications / Skills
- Degree in business, communications, marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in bid coordination/management, administration or document control
- Familiarity with the architecture, engineering or construction sector is an advantage
Roles and Responsibilities
- Preparing tenders and standardised tender templates and documentation
- Developing the bid and tender strategy
- Preparing initial tender documentation and coordinate obtaining the required approvals
- Maintaining a list of qualified vendors, especially as related to planned tenders
- Compilation of various input to create a more complete tender proposal
- Monitoring deadlines
- Evaluation and contract negotiation
- Liaising with the User Department on an ongoing basis with respect to Tender requirements and Tender status
- Corresponding with vendors in conjunction with the tender process as required e.g. non-disclosure agreements, confirmation of interest, etc
- Preparing, writing and submitting of Tender Documentation Packages
- Assembling and maintaining internal Procurement documentation relating to the tendering process, including recording management approval relating to tendering and contracting actions
- Maintaining tender files
- Preparing Tender status reports and expected timelines on a regular basis
- Preparing correspondences to internal departments, bidders and contractors
- Following through successful acquisitions to completion

- Highly organised, with strong written communication and editing skills
- Analytically minded, able to break down and understand information
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams, at all levels, and must be comfortable with working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment

Pay: From €65,000.00 per year
