We are recruiting a Full Time (minimum 35 hours) Chef Manager to lead our busy team in our new location in Dunnes stores, Sushi Gourmet, St Kieran's Street, Gardens, Kilkenny, R95 PF82. Full training will be provided.
The role of an Chef Manager is to lead and manage the sushi kiosk operation, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products, strong commercial performance, and full compliance with food safety and company standards. The Sushi Chef Manager is responsible for team leadership, operational excellence, and driving sales and profitability.

Oversee daily kiosk operations, ensuring smooth and efficient running
Lead, coach, and develop the sushi team to deliver high performance
Prepare sushi products to specification while maintaining exceptional quality and presentation standards
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Manage stock ordering, inventory control, and waste minimisation
Monitor sales performance and take action to maximise revenue and profitability
Ensure correct implementation of recipes, portion control, and company procedures
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and brand presentation
Build strong relationships with store partners and stakeholders
Manage rotas, labour costs, and productivity levels
Handle customer queries and ensure excellent service standards at all times
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
