Healthwave is Ireland's first digital pharmacy. We dispense to 20,000 patients nationwide from our Dublin hub, with no walk-in queues, no late evenings, and no weekend shifts.
Patients interact with us by chat and phone, our dispensing is supported by a robotic PillPod system, and we run on Touchstore.
Over the last 12 months we've become one of Ireland's largest dispensers of GLP-1 weight loss treatments, working with leading online doctor partners, which has added cold chain dispensing and significant volume growth to the operation.
You'd be joining a team of 20 people (pharmacists, technicians, and patient care colleagues) in a business that's growing quickly and investing in the technology to bring the best possible pharmacy experience to Irish patients.
As a senior member of the dispensing team, you'll be one of the people the rest of the team leans on. Depending on your strengths, this could include:
Running the monthly HSE claim end to end and handling follow-up queries
Supporting our cold chain GLP-1 dispensing operation, one of the fastest-growing parts of the business
Supporting the pharmacist team with dispensing and shipping label generation
Liaising with patients over chat, email and phone using Healthwave's customer support system
Working across our home delivery service and PillPod robotic dispensing
Ensuring packaging and stock levels are maintained
Mentoring our pharmacy students and less experienced technicians

Tell us what you're best at and what you want to do more of.
You've worked as a dispensing technician in Ireland for several years.
You know the HSE schemes inside out (GMS, DPS, LTI, HTD) and the rules that go with them.
You've sent monthly claims before, chased rejects, and know how to read a PCRS statement.
You've ordered from the usual suppliers and you can hold your own in a fast-paced dispensary.
You'll probably also be someone who likes working in a team, isn't fazed by technology, and wants the work itself to be interesting.
