Assistant Food & Beverage Manager Errigal Country House Hotel
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and customer-focused Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our management team at the Errigal Country House Hotel.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to assist in overseeing the daily operations of our busy food and beverage departments, including weddings, events, restaurant service, bar operations, and banqueting.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, and smooth day-to-day operations throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the daily operations of all food & beverage outlets
- Lead, motivate, and support the F&B team to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and service are consistently maintained
- Support the coordination and running of weddings, functions, and events
- Train and develop staff members to maintain company standards
- Assist with staff scheduling and rota management
- Monitor stock levels, ordering, and stock control procedures
- Handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and HACCP regulations
- Work closely with senior management to improve service and operational performance
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality or food & beverage
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy event periods
- A passion for customer service and hospitality
- Experience in weddings/events is an advantage
