Senior Diabetes Dietitian
An opportunity has arisen to join our Dietetics team, as a Senior Dietitian.
This is a permanent part time position for 21 hours per week.
Purpose of post:

To provide a Dietetic and nutrition service to patients and their families / carers in the area of Diabetes and endocrinology.

To provide this service to patients who attend the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin and Diabetes Day Centre.
- To deliver care within the multidisciplinary team approach.
Professional qualifications, essential skills & knowledge:

BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics from University of Dublin or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years post graduate experience.

Relevant experience in the dietetic education and management of patients with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes.
- Valid CORU registration

Ability to work independently

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Sensitivity to patient needs

Ability to use own initiative and to work without direct supervision.

Ability to organize and manage own caseload
