Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling, storage, and movement of customers' household goods, office equipment, and other stored items.
The role involves supervising road and warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting moving and storage operations to deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of goods.
Coordinate the loading and unloading of moving trucks and storage containers.
Ensure proper handling, packing, and storage of customer belongings to prevent damage.
Maintain warehouse organisation and optimise storage space utilisation.
Monitor workflow and allocate tasks to warehouse personnel.
Team Leadership
Supervise, train, and mentor road and warehouse staff.
Schedule employee shifts and manage attendance.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching when needed.
Promote a positive, productive, and safety-focused work environment.
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records and storage documentation.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper labelling and tracking of customer items and storage units.
Utilise warehouse management systems and company software effectively.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards promptly.
Ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
Investigate and report accidents, incidents, or damages.
Customer Service
Support customer inquiries related to stored goods and warehouse operations.
Coordinate timely retrieval and delivery of customer belongings.
Ensure high standards of service and professionalism.
Equipment & Facility Management
Monitor warehouse equipment, including forklifts and material handling tools.
Coordinate maintenance and repair requirements.
Ensure warehouse cleanliness and security at all times.
Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
