We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our civil engineering and infrastructure project team in Adare, Co. Limerick. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of all site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with project management, design, commercial, planning, and HSQE teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, local authorities, utility providers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Carry out setting out, levelling, and surveying in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and site documentation.
- Monitor construction works to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
- Assist in planning and tracking project programmes and progress.
- Supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, as-built drawings, and technical reports.
- Manage materials, plant requirements, and labour coordination.
- Support the Project Manager in resolving technical and operational issues.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks on ongoing and completed works.
- Assist with reporting, cost control, and general project administration.
Requirements:
- Degree or Master’s in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in setting out, surveying, and site coordination.
- Good knowledge of Irish construction standards and HSE regulations.
- Proficient with surveying equipment and engineering software.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
Pay: €55,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
