We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Service Desk Agent to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, technicians, suppliers and visitors via telephone and email.
- Manage the company inbox, ensuring enquiries are responded to promptly or directed to the appropriate team.
- Log service requests, reactive maintenance calls, quotations and jobs accurately within company systems.
- Coordinate and monitor job progression, ensuring information is updated and communicated effectively.
- Maintain trackers, reports and databases through accurate data entry and administration.
- Assist with the setup and administration of projects, including recording opportunities on the Sales Master List and progressing projects through the appropriate stages.
- Support the onboarding process by providing introductory system and administrative training to new technicians where required.
- Maintain organised digital records and documentation, including scanning, filing and archiving information in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist in the administration of quality, compliance and continuous improvement processes, ensuring records, actions and supporting documentation are maintained accurately.
- Support customer experience initiatives by coordinating service feedback, maintaining records and identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery.
- Compile operational updates, customer acknowledgements, service highlights and team communications to support employee engagement and promote a culture of recognition.
- Prepare reports, summaries and management information as required.
- Build positive relationships with clients by providing professional support and guidance throughout the service process.
- Undertake ad hoc administrative and operational duties as required to support the wider business.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service, service desk, administration or coordination role.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
