At Kylemore Motor Centre, we're offering a 4-day working week with flexibility on which days you work. Ideally, your 4 working days will be continuous, giving you a regular 3-day break every week.
We're looking for a skilled and reliable mechanic with at least 3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing workshop team.
The Role
As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Must have EU Residencey Permit
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, clutch, timing belt, and engine repairs.
- Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Complete work to manufacturer and industry standards.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines.
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Full driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Strong time management skills.
