Breakfast Chef
About the Role
Lakeside Manor is hiring a talented Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfast each morning, along with baking fresh goods such as breads, scones, and pastries. This is a rewarding role suited to someone who loves early shifts, takes pride in their craft, and enjoys working in a peaceful lakeside setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook all breakfast dishes to a high standard during morning service
- Bake fresh goods daily (scones, bread, pastries)
- Ensure mise-en-place is well prepped the day before
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Monitor stock and communicate ordering needs
- Comply with food safety and hygiene standards
- Work independently and take initiative during early shifts
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in breakfast service and/or bakery
- Skilled in scratch baking (especially Irish/continental styles)
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Calm and capable in a solo or small-team kitchen
- Strong communication and fluent English
- Eligibility to work in Ireland

Schedule
- Shifts typically run: 7:00am to 3:00pm
- No evening work
