Location: Weatherwell Industrial Estate, Clondalkin
Hours: 8:00am-16:30 Mon to Thurs. Early finish most Fridays 13.00
Role Type: Permanent on-site role, 4.5 days per week no hybrid working as this role supports an onsite manufacturing operation
Salary: €45,000-€50,000
The Role: Join our industry leading engineering team at Davenham Switchgear, a Legrand Group company, where your CAD skills directly support the design and delivery of real-world electrical power systems used in critical infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an agile, hands-on design role where you’ll be trusted in producing and developing low voltage (LV) switchgear AutoCAD designs, including generator control panels, sub distribution boards, variable speed drive (VSD) systems, and complex bespoke power distribution solutions.
Working closely with the Head of Design, Project Managers, Engineers, and Electricians, you’ll help turn technical requirements into clear, accurate, and build-ready drawings that our manufacturing teams rely on every day. This is not just a drafting role it’s about connecting projects, improving design consistency, and helping shape smarter, more efficient engineering workflows.
When not working on CAD output, you’ll also support the team with project administration and coordination tasks, helping keep live projects moving smoothly and giving you exposure to the engineering segment.
