Churchfield Home Services is seeking an experienced External Insulation Supervisor to join our PMO East operations, leading an EWI installation team across residential retrofit projects throughout Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
This is a hands-on supervisory role for someone with strong External Wall Insulation experience who can lead from the front, physically working alongside the team while taking ownership of the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of works on site.
You will be responsible for turning the approved project plan into completed installation work, coordinating your team, materials and daily activities while ensuring every stage of the EWI system is delivered Right First Time.
Working closely with the Senior Supervisor and Project Manager, you will ensure installations meet NSAI-certified system requirements, NSAI S.R. 54:2014, SEAI programme requirements and CHS quality and safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead and work alongside an EWI installation team on residential retrofit projects.
- Review project information, PSDs, Works Orders, RAMS, materials and installation requirements before works begin.
- Carry out and supervise all key stages of EWI installation, including enabling works, boarding, basecoat, mesh, render and completion detailing.
- Organise daily labour and work allocation to keep projects progressing safely and efficiently.
- Monitor workmanship continuously and correct defects before works progress to the next stage.
- Manage materials, identify shortages and raise material requests where required.
- Ensure scaffold access, PPE, RAMS and site safety requirements are followed at all times.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and protect customer property throughout the works.
- Complete required records, installation forms, photographs and progress updates accurately and on time.
- Support and coach operatives and apprentices, demonstrating correct installation techniques and reinforcing CHS standards.
- Maintain professional standards when working in and around customers' homes.
- Escalate technical, quality, safety, programme or customer concerns promptly to the Senior Supervisor or Project Manager.
- Stop or suspend works where there is a safety or quality concern.
What You'll Need
We're looking for an experienced EWI professional who combines strong practical installation skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong hands-on experience in External Wall Insulation (EWI) installation.
- Demonstrated competence across the key stages of an EWI system, from preparation and boarding through to render and completion.
- Previous supervisory, team lead or crew leadership experience.
- Good understanding of NSAI-certified EWI systems, manufacturer installation requirements and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of site safety, RAMS and working-at-height requirements.
- Ability to organise labour, materials and daily site activities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a Right First Time approach to workmanship.
- Confident communicating with team members, Project Managers and customers.
- Comfortable using digital systems and mobile applications for project records, photographs and reporting.
- Safe Pass.

- Working at Heights.
- Full Category B driving licence.
- Legally permitted to work in Ireland.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
Relevant EWI system certification or manufacturer training would be advantageous.
