Relief Early Years Educator
Little Minds Preschool is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Relief Early Years Educator to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across different age groups and is passionate about providing high quality care and education in a nurturing environment.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am – 2:00pm (25 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Support educators across all rooms as required.
- Cover staff breaks, lunches, annual leave and absences.
- Help maintain the required adult to child ratios at all times.
- Support children's daily care routines, including nappy changing, toileting and mealtimes.
- Assist with activities and daily routines across the preschool.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment in line with Tusla regulations and health and safety requirements.
Essential Requirements
- QQI Level 5 (or higher) in Early Childhood Care and Education (or a recognised equivalent).
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, flexible and professional.
- Knowledge of Aistear, Síolta and Tusla regulations is desirable.
