Job Summary:
As a Subway Sandwich Artist, you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality food in accordance with Subway’s standards. You will create a welcoming environment for customers, maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant through teamwork, efficiency, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Welcome every customer with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items to Subway standards.
- Provide product recommendations and answer customer questions.
- Ensure every customer has an enjoyable dining experience.
Food Preparation
- Prepare fresh ingredients according to Subway recipes and procedures.
- Bake bread, cookies, and other products as required.
- Maintain portion control and product quality.
- Replenish ingredients throughout the day.
Food Safety & Hygiene
- Follow all food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a clean and sanitised work area at all times.
- Monitor food temperatures and storage procedures.
- Practise excellent personal hygiene and wear the correct uniform.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean equipment, counters, preparation areas, dining area, and restrooms.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Dispose of waste correctly and maintain a tidy restaurant.
Cash Handling
- Operate the till accurately.
- Process cash, card, and digital payments.
- Balance the till according to company procedures.
Teamwork
- Work effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Support team members during busy periods.
- Communicate professionally with managers and co-workers.
- Attend training sessions and continuously improve skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Previous food service experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 15 kg.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a busy environment.

Pay: €14.15-€17.51 per hour
