Main Purpose of the Role:
The Depot Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the depot team to deliver excellent sales and service to customers. They oversee all day-to-day depot operations, including delivery, driver liaison and credit control. A key focus for the Acting Depot Supervisor is to ensure that the depot team understand and fully comply with all health and safety policies.
Key Accountabilities: Health, Safety & Security
- Ensure depot staff work in a safe and secure environment that protects employees and customers.
- Conduct Depot Induction and refresher training for all team members including part time and temporary staff.
- Ensure all depot team members adhere to all health & safety, operational and security policies and procedures.
- Identify and bring to the attention of management any deficiencies in safety or security and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
