At Turmec, we are currently growing our team and are looking for dedicated, skilled mechanical site supervisors to join our expanding site installation team to assist in delivering small and large-scale projects in Ireland, the UK and the wider international market. Successful applicants will enjoy being part of a closely-knit manufacturing team, who pride themselves on delivering the highest quality products to our worldwide customers.

The Mechanical Site Supervisors duties will include:

Supervising and coordinating on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and
specifications 
Overseeing the day-to-day operation activities on the site 
Interface on site with OEM Suppliers 
Responsible for maintaining site documentation 
Interface on site with all subcontractors relating to each Project 
Ensure each project follows strict health and safety guidelines including H+S document control and
comply with all regulations 
Manage weekly time sheets of all site men and maintain close correspondence with payroll dept 
Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver installations on time and within budget 
Responsible for the management of plant and equipment on site 
Attending company & client meetings, sharing regular progress reports with the client and Internal
management.

Essential Requirements

Be Safety Focused 
The ideal candidate must be self-efficient, be able to work on their own initiative, but also be a team
player. 
Proven supervision experience in a similar field. 
Metal Fabrication Experience desirable 
Compliance with company / site rules & procedures. 
SSSTS/SMSTS, IOSH training advantage but will be provided for the right candidate. 
Excellent communication skills 
A good understanding of spoken and written English is essential 
Keen eye and passion for detail and quality 
Full driver’s licence 
Experience in the use of safety software and Navisworks/Trimble software an advantage but not
essential. 
Travel required.
