About the Role
This role is based with our North Dublin Community Support Team, supporting people in their own homes across a residential roster. The people we support enjoy a mix of home and community-based activities, and are looking for support staff who are proactive, imaginative, patient, and genuinely interested in getting to know them.
You'll build trusting, respectful relationships that support people to create a home life aligned with their own identity, values, and personal choices — applying dignity pathways, upholding privacy and autonomy, and helping people participate in meaningful community life, including providing intimate and personal care with sensitivity and respect.
Salary and Benefits
The salary scale runs from €37,838 to €54,747per annum, plus premium payments of up to €12,000 per annum pro rata. A sector-wide pay agreement will provide for a 2% increase from 1st October 2026.
Essentials:
Level 7 qualification in Social Care/Studies (or recognised NARIC equivalent), OR a relevant degree in social work, psychology, or allied health, OR a post-graduate qualification in Autism Studies OR CORU Registration
Excellent communication and engagement skills
At least one year of recent experience in a similar role
A full, clean driving licence
A thorough understanding of HIQA regulations
Full Garda Vetting (required prior to commencing employment)
Desirables:
Eligibility for CORU Registration
Experience supporting individuals with autism/ASD
Experience in case management/key working
