Crown is a leading specialist contractor delivering roofing, cladding, and façade solutions across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our expanding team.
This role will initially be based on a project in Bray, with long-term opportunities across the Dublin region. Working alongside project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance across our projects.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and champion a positive health and safety culture across all site activities.

Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation, client requirements, and Crown's Health & Safety Management System.

Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations, identifying risks and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Review and monitor Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and safe systems of work.

Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety briefings.

Support project teams with planning works safely and proactively identifying potential hazards.

Monitor subcontractor compliance with project health and safety requirements.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing reports and implementing corrective actions.

Maintain accurate health and safety documentation and project records.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on health and safety matters.

Provide practical advice and support to site management teams, driving continuous improvement.

Assist with internal and external audits while supporting the ongoing development of Crown's health and safety standards.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience working as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction industry.

Experience on roofing, cladding, façade, structural steel, or main contractor projects is highly desirable.

A thorough understanding of Irish health and safety legislation and best practice.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence safe working behaviours.

Experience carrying out site inspections, audits, incident investigations, and producing detailed reports.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work independently.

Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel between project locations within the Dublin region.
