Position: Sales & Accounts Administrator

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Sales & Accounts Administrator to join our team in Sligo on a full-time basis. This role is an integral part of our daily business operations, covering customer orders, invoicing, stock forecasting and purchase ledger administration. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with excellent communication skills, capable of managing a varied daily workload independently and maintaining high standards of data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
General Administration & Office Coordination
· Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming telephone calls, general email inquiries, and office visitors.
· Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems to ensure easy retrieval, data integrity, and compliance.
· Support the fulfilment of online orders and respond to customer queries in a timely, professional manner.
Customer Care & Query Management
· Act as a key contact for customer inquiries regarding orders, account balances, copy invoices, and statement queries.
· Liaise with sales, operations, and finance teams to source necessary information and ensure fast turnaround times on customer requests.
· Monitor deliveries, investigate discrepancies and manage order amendments.
Accounts & Financial Administration
· Support the Financial Accountant with daily data entry, invoice matching, and purchase/sales ledger processing.
· Assist with the preparation and distribution of monthly customer invoices and statements.
· Maintain the Forecast File, including retailer forecasts, stock reconciliations and forward stock requirements.
· Input financial data accurately into internal systems/accounting software and perform routine ledger checks.
· Maintain accurate records and provide general administrative support across Sales, Supply Chain and Finance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Software Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook). Prior exposure to accounting or ERP software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) is an advantage.
· Customer Service Focus: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve customer inquiries professionally and empathetically.
· Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Demonstrable data entry and typing skills with a commitment to precision and error-free recordkeeping.
· Organisation & Initiative: Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, and take ownership of daily duties.
· Communication: Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience: Previous experience in sales administration, accounts administration or a similar role is highly desirable.

Pay: €29,000.00-€32,000.00 per year
