The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting an experienced Banqueting Manager for a well-established 4-star hotel in Meath. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to take ownership of a busy banqueting and events operation, delivering weddings, corporate events, and private functions to a high standard.
You will lead the banqueting team, ensuring seamless service delivery while maintaining strong operational and guest service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the banqueting department
- Lead, train, and develop the banqueting team
- Oversee weddings, corporate events, and private functions
- Ensure all events are delivered to a high standard from setup to completion
- Work closely with the Sales, Kitchen, and Operations teams
- Manage staffing levels, rostering, and labour costs
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal departments
- Ensure health, safety, and service standards are consistently met
Requirements
- 2–3 years’ experience in a Banqueting or Events management role
- Background in a 4-star hotel or high-volume venue preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Experience managing multiple events simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and guest-focused approach
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
