We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Bar Person to join our Madigans Pub team in Kilbarrack. With at least 5 years’ experience as bar staff in the Irish bar trade, the successful candidate will help in the day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth service, staff support, and excellent customer care. Key Responsibilities
- Serve drinks to a high standard with speed and accuracy.
- Help your line manager monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, health & safety, and HACCP requirements
- Handle cash and card transactions responsibly and in line with company policy and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally.
- Contribute to promotions and initiatives to drive sales.
- Support the management team.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ bar trade experience in Ireland or similar market
- Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and cellar management.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
- Fully Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when your roster requires it.
- Applicants must have full permission to work in Ireland – Stamp 2 visas are not eligible (role requires over 20 hours per week)

- Fluent English will be required.
