We are looking for a reliable, organised and well-presented Store Manager / Store Assistant to join our team at our busy store in Corbally, Co. Limerick.
This role is manging a fuel Depot and involves handing 40kg product and serving customers, also cashing up at end of day.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving stock control, customer service, deliveries, sales and the general day-to-day running of the store.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to ensure the store and yard are organised, fully stocked and operating efficiently, while providing an excellent service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day running and organisation of the store and yard.
- Take responsibility for accurate stock control and stock management.
- Receive, check, organise and replenish stock.
- Oversee the storage and movement of products within the yard.
- Deal directly with members of the public and provide a friendly, professional service.
- Process customer orders and sales.
- Promote products and maximise sales opportunities.
- Assist with planning and organising customer deliveries.
- Deliver gas and solid fuels when required.
- Ensure the store and yard are clean, tidy and presented to a high standard.
- Ensure products are correctly merchandised and readily available for customers.
- Communicate effectively with management and other members of the team.
- Follow all company procedures, including health and safety and manual handling procedures.
- Assist with general shop duties and any other tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the store.

Desirable Experience
The following would be beneficial but are not essential:
- C Licence – beneficial for delivery work.
- Forklift experience / certification.
- Previous experience in a store, yard, warehouse, retail or delivery environment.
- Experience with stock control or inventory management.
- Experience dealing directly with customers.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate where required.
Full-time and part-time positions available. Weekend work may be required during busy periods. Seasonal work may also be considered.
