The Role
We’re looking for a Project Planner / Scheduler who understands how construction projects actually move, not just on paper, but on site.
This is not a passive reporting role. You’ll sit at the centre of project delivery, working directly with Project Managers, Commercial teams and site leadership to build, manage and challenge programmes in real time.
You’ll take ownership of the programme from early development through to delivery, ensuring it reflects reality, drives performance, and highlights risk before it becomes a problem.
If you’ve worked in an M&E contractor or construction environment and know how sequencing, coordination and site constraints impact delivery, you’ll fit straight into this.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Build and manage detailed, resource-loaded project programmes (Primavera / MS Project)
-
Work closely with site and project teams to ensure programmes reflect real construction sequences
-
Identify risks, delays and pressure points early, drive solutions
-
Run “what-if” scenarios to assess impact of changes in methodology or sequencing
-
Produce clear, accurate reporting on progress, milestones and critical path
-
Support project teams with short-term planning and lookahead programmes
-
Challenge assumptions and provide practical planning advice across the project lifecycle
-
Monitor progress on site and align programme with actual delivery
-
Support commercial and project teams with planning input for variations and claims
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
-
Experience as a Planner / Scheduler within construction or M&E contracting
-
Strong understanding of how projects are delivered on site (not just theoretical planning)
-
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
-
Ability to interpret drawings, sequencing, and construction methodology
-
Strong stakeholder engagement, able to work with site teams, PMs and senior leadership
-
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-
Ambitious, proactive, and confident in challenging when needed

You’ll be trusted to influence, not just report.
What We Offer

Competitive salary and benefits package

Exposure to major international projects across multiple sectors
-
Clear progression opportunities as our planning function continues to grow

A business where planning is valued and embedded into delivery
