Title of Post: Research Assistant in Quantified Performance in High-Performance Keyboards
JOB SYNOPSIS
The goal of this project is to continue and extend the initial collaborative work between Lero and Logitech by exploring and identifying key performance factors related to high- performance analog and mechanical switch keyboards. In this way, the project will specifically investigate the benefits to productivity associated with high-performance computing equipment. It will do this by capturing behavioural, physiological and performance data during high performance computing sessions. These data may come from the video-capture, instrumentation of devices, and biometric sensors obtaining psychophysiological measurements like the electrical impulses occurring in the brain, eye fixation, heart rate, pressure imposed on interaction devices and pupil dilation. Various data processing and analysis techniques will then be employed to identify discriminating features for performance prediction during high-performance computing and how different devices affect computing productivity and performance.

Salary Scale: €34,129 - €44,311 p.a. pro rata (maximum starting salary €35,395 p.a. pro rata)
