We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to become part of the heart and soul of Sally MacLennane’s, a proud, traditional Irish Pub & Kitchen in the heart of Baggot Street.
With great comfort food, live music, a buzzing match-day atmosphere from the Aviva and RDS, and a beautifully refurbished Georgian setting, Sally Mac’s is a place where teamwork keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in supporting the kitchen team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation, and playing an essential role in delivering a great experience for every guest.
Location: Baggot Street , Dublin
Salary: from €14.20 per hour plus tips
Contract: Full-time or part time
Responsibilities include:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, floors, workstations, and equipment.
- Assisting chefs with basic food prep when needed (e.g., peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients).
- Collecting and disposing of waste and recycling according to hygiene standards.
- Following HACCP and food safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting the team during busy periods, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Assisting with deliveries and storage of goods.
About You:
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Reliable and hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Flexible and willing to take on different tasks as needed.
- Strong team players with a willingness to learn.
- Available for evening shifts.
- Hold a valid EU passport or Irish work permit.
