We are looking for a full time Sales assistant with some previous retail experience. It is a 37.5 hour contract with some weekend work.
The ideal candidate would combine strong people skills with a willingness to learn. Existing outdoor product knowledge would be an advantage, but attitude, reliability and an ability to engage with customers is particularly important.
Experience in a similar role would be an advantage along with an interest in the outdoors. Training will be provided.

Key Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements:
- To drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
- Drive customer service standards along with store display and merchandising
- To love the outdoors
Skills:
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good attention to detail, particularly regarding merchandising, stock replenishment and general store standards.
- Sales focused, with the ability to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate products and actively contribute towards store targets
- Ability to take instruction and perform tasks to the highest standard.
- Excellent customer service skills
