- 1. Managing Appointments and Scheduling:
- Scheduling patient appointments within our clinics.
2. Patient Records and Documentation:
- Maintaining accurate patient records, including personal information, medical history, and treatment details.
- Updating and organizing medical records in both paper and electronic formats.
- Ensuring confidentiality of patient data by adhering to privacy laws and regulations.
- Handling medical forms.
3. Medical Billing and Coding:
- Processing patient billing information.
- Taking payments
4. Communication and Correspondence:
- Answering phone calls and emails from patients, healthcare providers, and other professionals.
- Relaying messages between patients and medical staff.
- Corresponding with surgeries, doctors’ practices, and other facilities for test results and referrals.
- Writing and sending letters, reports, or memos as needed.
5. Managing Office Supplies and Equipment:
- Ensuring that the office has necessary supplies, including medical forms, equipment, and stationery.
- Ordering and maintaining supplies in an efficient manner.
6. Supporting Medical Staff:
- Assisting doctors, nurses, and management with administrative tasks.
- Preparing patient charts for appointments, ensuring all necessary documents are ready.
- Helping with other tasks as directed, such as preparing consent forms or collecting medical histories.
7. Managing Patient Flow and Office Organization:
- Greeting patients upon arrival and directing them to the appropriate area.
- Ensuring that patient waiting areas are organized and comfortable.
- Checking in patients and verifying their personal and insurance information.
- Monitoring patient flow to ensure appointments stay on schedule.
8. Medical Transcription:
- Transcribing medical notes from healthcare providers, either by typing directly from audio recordings or handwritten notes.
- Ensuring all medical transcriptions are accurate and formatted correctly.
9. Handling Billing Queries and Financial Inquiries:
- Addressing patient inquiries about bills and payments.
- Assisting with payment plans and financial arrangements.
10. Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensuring that all administrative processes comply with healthcare laws and regulations.
- Keeping track of updates in health regulations and implementing necessary changes in the office practices.
- Sending reminders/calling patients about their upcoming appointments.
- Handling cancellations and rescheduling appointments when necessary.
Pay: €15.00-€18.00 per hour
