The Mill Park Hotel, Donegal Town are currently recruiting a Part Time Night Porter to join their vibrant and enthusiastic work force.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· To complete a daily handover with the receptionist and management team on duty.
· To complete a walk around of the hotel ensuring everything is as it should be. This will be completed numerous times throughout the night.
· To ensure that all corridors, fire exits, staircases and cupboards are kept clear of obstruction.
· To serve guests in the Granary Bar on a nightly basis when the bar tender finishes his shift
· To assist with meeting rooms set-up and service when requested.
· To check guests in and out as required.
· Responsible for cleaning other areas of the hotel as directed by manager on duty and also as per nightly checklist which may include set up of breakfast area.
· Responsibility for the lobby, front entrance and outside of the hotel and ensuring that it is clean and tidy at all times. This includes emptying bins, picking up rubbish etc.
· To ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, staff and visitors is maintained at all times.
· To deal with customer queries throughout the night.
· To do a morning handover with the manager on duty and the receptionist

Requirements:
· The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in hospitality.
· The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team.
· A warm, friendly, and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
The Hours:
Must be flexible with shifts, 11pm to 7.00am/12 mid night to 8am
