Position Overview
JLL is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lean Six Sigma Manager to lead our continuous improvement initiatives. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Lean Six Sigma program to drive operational excellence, enhance client value, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across our service lines.
The ideal candidate is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a proven track record of leading complex improvement projects from ideation to completion, delivering measurable financial and operational results within a global, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Roadmap Development
Develop, deploy, and manage a continuous improvement strategy that aligns with JLL's business objectives.
Identify and prioritize key business processes for improvement using data-driven analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
Lead a portfolio of high-impact Lean Six Sigma projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and deliver projected benefits.
Serve as the primary subject matter expert and advocate for Lean Six Sigma methodologies across the organization.
Project Execution and Management
Lead cross-functional teams through the full DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) project lifecycle.
Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping (VSM) sessions, and other Lean workshops to identify and eliminate waste in our processes.
Apply advanced statistical analysis and process control techniques to diagnose root causes and validate solutions.
Ensure that project improvements are successfully implemented and sustained through effective control plans, training, and monitoring.
Training and Mentoring
Develop and deliver engaging training programs on Lean Six Sigma principles and tools for JLL employees at all levels.
Coach and mentor Green Belts and other project leaders, guiding them through their own improvement projects to build organizational capability.
Cultivate a pipeline of skilled continuous improvement practitioners within JLL's business lines.
Performance Measurement and Reporting
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance and the impact of improvement initiatives.
Analyze complex data sets to provide actionable insights into business performance and opportunities.
Prepare and present clear, concise reports to senior leadership on project status, outcomes, challenges, and financial impact.
Change Management & Brand Governance
Champion a culture where data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement are core values.
Partner with department leaders and stakeholders to secure buy-in, manage resistance, and facilitate the smooth adoption of new and improved processes.
Ensure all training curricula, process maps, templates, and project communication collateral strictly adhere to corporate brand guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Certification: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a recognized institution is required.
Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a dedicated continuous improvement role, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity coaching others.
Methodologies: Expert-level mastery of Lean principles (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Waste Reduction) and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments).
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
Leadership: Proven experience leading multiple, complex Lean Six Sigma projects with documented, significant financial and operational impact. Excellent facilitation and influencing skills across a global, matrixed organization.
Preferred
Education: Master's degree (MBA or MS in a relevant field).
Certification: Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) certification.
Industry Experience: Experience in the Commercial Real Estate, Facility/Property Management, or related professional services industry.
Project Management: PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile/Scrum certification.
Analytics: Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
