Care About You is a new and expanding home care provider delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older people and individuals with disabilities throughout County Carlow.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Field Care Supervisor to support the growth of our service and ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to our clients in their own homes.
About the Role
Reporting to the Care Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our care team, maintaining quality standards and ensuring excellent client outcomes.
Duties will include:
- Completing client assessments and reviews.
- Developing and updating person-centred care plans.
- Conducting staff spot checks, supervision and competency assessments.
- Supporting staff through induction and ongoing supervision.
- Assisting with care package set-up and client introductions.
- Completing risk assessments and service reviews.
- Monitoring documentation and ensuring compliance with HIQA and HSE standards.
- Liaising with clients, families and healthcare professionals.
- Supporting the Care Manager with the day-to-day operation of the service.
- Participating in the on-call rota when required.
Essential Requirements
- QQI Level 6 qualification in Supervisory Management, Healthcare Management or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a supervisory role within home care or healthcare.
- Full clean Irish driving licence.
- Access to your own vehicle.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong knowledge of person-centred care.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Strong IT skills and experience using electronic care management systems.
Desirable
- Experience completing care plans and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of HSE Home Support Services.
- Experience using One Touch Health (or similar electronic care planning system).

Pay: €27,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
