We are seeking a professional, experienced, and reliable Childcare Professional to provide full-time care and developmental support for our 3-year-old child within a private family setting.
This position requires an individual who demonstrates professionalism, emotional intelligence, strong organisational skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood development. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a structured, safe, and nurturing environment while supporting the child’s daily routines, early learning, and bilingual language development.
Our household supports a bilingual and multicultural environment. As our child is currently learning Thai language and culture, fluency in Thai is an essential requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, high-quality childcare in a safe and supportive environment
- Support the child’s emotional, social, and developmental growth through structured, age-appropriate activities
- Encourage Thai language development through daily interaction, educational activities, reading, music, and play
- Maintain consistent daily routines, including meals, naps, educational activities, and outings
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child
- Organise educational and creative activities that support early childhood learning and development
- Accompany the child to activities, appointments, or outings as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of child-related areas, toys, clothing, and supplies
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child’s wellbeing, routines, and development
- Uphold professionalism, discretion, and reliability at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Fluent Thai speaker (essential)
- Strong English communication skills
- Minimum 2 years’ professional childcare or nanny experience
- Experience caring for toddlers or young children
- Understanding of early childhood development and learning
- Professional, dependable, organised, and proactive
- Experience supporting bilingual language development is desirable
- Valid references required
- First Aid and/or childcare qualifications desirable
- Eligibility to work in Ireland or willingness to participate in the relevant employment permit process
