The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing end-to-end execution, procurement, and fulfilment for operational and project-specific requests. This role serves as a central operational point of coordination, ensuring goods and materials are sourced, allocated, transferred through regional distribution hubs, and delivered in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Operating in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgement, strong inventory oversight, effective escalation management, and seamless cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of project-specific requests, ensuring alignment with agreed schedules and operational requirements.
- Facilitate procurement and vendor sourcing activities to meet project material requirements.
- Coordinate inter-hub stock transfers, monitoring specialist packing procedures, regional transportation schedules, and final-mile delivery verification.
- Maintain proactive stakeholder communications regarding delivery milestones and lead-time expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for operational disruptions, transit delays, customs holds, and inventory shortages.
- Investigate supply chain issues through root-cause analysis and implement mitigation plans to maintain delivery continuity.
- Establish escalation pathways and implement corrective actions to minimise recurring operational challenges.
- Maintain inventory accuracy across distribution centres and regional storage locations.
- Support physical inventory counts, cycle counting programmes, and audit readiness initiatives.
- Analyse inventory movement trends to optimise stock positioning and reduce shrinkage risk.
- Partner with Procurement, Logistics, IT Operations, Enterprise Architecture, and Warehouse teams to ensure operational alignment and execution excellence.
- Deliver a high standard of service to internal stakeholders while managing expectations clearly and professionally.
- SLA Compliance: Percentage of project requests delivered within target timelines.
- Escalation Resolution Time: Average time required to resolve active supply chain disruptions.
- Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA): Variance rate between system inventory records and physical stock counts.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Measured feedback and operational satisfaction from key internal business units.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain execution, operations delivery, logistics coordination, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at varying levels of the organisation.
- Experience working with enterprise technology infrastructure and hardware products such as Dell or Cisco solutions.
- Understanding of international trade compliance, customs requirements, and import/export documentation processes.
- Familiarity with supply planning, inventory auditing methodologies, and continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean Six Sigma.
