Requirements
- Must be enrolled in or have completed a QQI Level 5 (Care Skills and Care of the Older Person)
- Patient Moving and Handling certificate up to date.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in homecare
- Full Irish Driving Licence
- Own car (mandatory)
- Suitable references
- Must pass Garda Vetting
- Fluent English
- Caring, positive, and professional attitude
- Reliable and dependable
Duties & Responsibilities
- Personal care: toileting, continence care, and assistance with daily living activities
- Supporting clients with physiotherapy programmes
- Support services: shopping, meal preparation, medication prompting, companionship, and escorting to appointments
- Domestic duties: meal preparation, cleaning work areas, hoovering
- Social care: conversation, companionship, and general support
- Reporting any concerns to our Manager/Supervisor.
