Job Summary
Seeking an enthusiastic & energetic sales executive to join our automotive team. Will learn a lot at this busy garage. The position is based at our premises in Dunboyne, Co. Meath.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Welcome and assist customers (both new & existing), providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Learn and explain vehicle features, pricing, and financing options to customers.
- Prepare vehicles for display and test drives.
- Liaise with Workshop re NCT checks or anything that needs to be done for vehicle to be ready for sale.
- Negotiate purchase of new vehicles for sale/stock.
- Advertise stock for sale on various platforms.
- Assist with follow-up communications to ensure excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Work towards individual sales targets with guidance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior automotive sales experience is preferable; previous customer service or retail experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn more about vehicles, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic organisational and time management skills.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
