Contract: Permanent Full-Time (35 Hours Per Week)
Salary: Grade VIII 83,912 -101,207
Salary dependent on relevant public sector experience.

The Role
The Service Manager will lead an extensive and large community based Residential and Respite Service across north Dublin. As a Service Manager within Avistas disability services, you will provide inclusive leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensure excellence in person-centered care, and uphold the organisations values, culture, and strategic direction. Reporting to the ACEO, the post holder will be a solution-focused leader who is committed and passionate about make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals we support. The post holder will be responsible for guiding professional practice, coaching and mentoring staff teams, performance development, promoting continuous learning, and ensuring that all staff deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred services.
Essential
- A recognised healthcare qualification in the area of nursing or core multi-disciplinary profession.
- Hold a qualification in a recognised management programme.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in a large and highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrate clinical experience with proven leadership and management qualities.
- Experience in engaging and working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Have demonstrable track record of leading large teams.
- A thorough and solid knowledge and understanding of HIQA Regulations.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in Safeguarding.
- Excellent financial management experience.
- Full clean drivers licence and access to own vehicle.
- Applicants should possess Level 3 behavioral competencies of the Avista competency framework.
