We are currently recruiting on behalf of a progressive and expanding Irish accountancy practice that supports SME and owner-managed businesses across Ireland with accounting, taxation and advisory services.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager who is looking for a senior role with genuine flexibility, a strong package and the chance to make a real impact within a growing practice.
What the Role Involves:
- Managing a portfolio of accounting and tax clients
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
- Ensuring high quality delivery of client work and compliance obligations
- Leading, coaching and supporting a team of qualified and trainee accountants
- Reviewing workflow allocation and resource planning
- Monitoring team performance and supporting ongoing development
- Ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are consistently met
- Reviewing accounts preparation and tax compliance work
- Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Contributing to portfolio growth, client retention and practice development
What We Are Looking For:
- ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualified experience
- Strong Irish practice background
- Experience managing and mentoring teams
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
- Business development or upselling exposure an advantage
What Is On Offer:
- €61,000 base salary
- €10,000 annual performance bonus
- Hybrid working — maximum 1 day per week onsite in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork
- 35 hour working week
- Optional compressed 4-day week post probation
