Corporate Reservations Agent
We are currently looking for a professional, organised, and customer-focused Corporate Reservations Agent to join our Reservations Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys building relationships with corporate clients, delivering exceptional customer service, and working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Working Hours:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- One Saturday shift on a rotational basis
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Reservations Manager, the Corporate Reservations Agent will be responsible for managing corporate reservations, supporting business clients, and ensuring a seamless booking experience from enquiry through to confirmation. The successful candidate will provide outstanding customer service while maximising revenue opportunities and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle corporate reservation enquiries via phone and email in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage corporate bookings, negotiated rates, and room allocations accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and travel partners.
- Follow up on reservation enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Prepare and maintain daily reservation reports, ensuring all bookings are accurate and up to date.
- Liaise closely with the Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals and excellent service delivery.
- Maximise room revenue through upselling and promoting additional hotel services where appropriate.
- Maintain an excellent knowledge of hotel facilities, services, promotions, and corporate agreements.
- Ensure all reservations are processed in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Assist with other reasonable duties as requested by Management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in Hotel Reservations, Corporate Reservations, or Front Office within the hospitality industry.
- Experience working with a Property Management System (Opera knowledge is an advantage).
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify sales opportunities.
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to work.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
