Role Description:
We are seeking skilled Solar PV Installer / Roofer Supervisor to lead our installation teams to work on a wide range of energy efficiency retrofit projects in the Mayo/Galway/Sligo region. Key Responsibilities:
- Install Solar Panels on residential homes to the highest of standards with precision and care
- Accurately set out and install Solar PV hooks, ensuring secure and stable mounting.
- Assist with the installation of Solar PV rails and cabling
- Support the wiring and final setup of Solar PV panels
- Perform roof vent installations with attention to detail and safety
- Ensure deadlines are met for upcoming installations and projects and assist the team in managing schedules
- Install and/or be willing to learn the installation of ventilation systems, including MVHR ducting and manifolds (training provided)
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure precise execution of installations
- Engage effectively with our customers, explaining the scope of work being carried out
- Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all installations and materials used
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
Candidate Requirement:
- At least 3–5 years of roofing experience (solar installation experience is a plus)
- Comfortable working at heights and using safety harnesses
- Resides within a commutable distance of Ballina, Co. Mayo
- Physically capable of handling the demands of the role
- Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety standards, with the ability to oversee site compliance
- Strong organisational skills and a customer-focused attitude
