We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage team at the Salthill Hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional guest service, and extensive restaurant and wine knowledge.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the Prom restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the daily management and operation of the restaurant.

Lead, motivate, and develop the restaurant team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Ensure excellent service standards are maintained at all times.

Support staff training, scheduling, and performance management.

Manage guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.

Monitor restaurant presentation, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management.

Support the delivery of food and beverage revenue targets.
Requirements:

Minimum 4 years' experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory or management role, preferably within a hotel or high-volume restaurant environment.

Sommelier experience and strong wine knowledge are essential.

Proven ability to lead and develop teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Experience with restaurant reservation and POS systems is advantageous.
